What is Unfolds?
Unfolds is an AI conversation app that helps you understand your emotions, identify patterns, and see situations from a different angle. It doesn't replace a mental health professional, but it offers a safe space for reflection.
Are my conversations private?
Yes. Your conversations are 100% confidential. We use anonymous authentication — you don't need an email, name, or any personal data to use the app.
Does Unfolds replace therapy?
No. Unfolds is a tool for reflection and self-awareness, not a substitute for professional therapy. If you're in crisis, seek professional help.
How does anonymous authentication work?
When you open the app for the first time, an anonymous account is automatically created using Firebase Authentication. No email or password required.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request complete deletion of your account and data from the account deletion page on our website or within the app.
Does it work offline?
You need an internet connection for AI conversations. However, you can view your conversation history and saved patterns offline.
What data do you collect?
We collect conversation data and emotional patterns associated with your anonymous account. If you enable Apple Health integration, we also access health data you authorize. See our privacy policy for details.
